These pictures are heart-breaking, especially the old man who has lost everything. Last September here in Colorado, USA, we had what has been documented at the worst flood in 500 years with tremendous loss and devastation and heart-break after a summer of horrendous drought and fires. Now, this spring,as the winter snow begins to melt in the Rockies, we have flooding again. If only we could help everyone in need after all this sadness. I’m glad to know that you are safe.

It’s a been a pretty awful year for flooding in so many places. We had some problems where I live but nothing compared to this. I fell in love with Bosnia on a visit a few years ago and have seen some of these places in better times – it’s so saddening to see them like this and my heart goes out to all those who felt the wrath of nature.

The devastation reminds me of the tropical cyclone Haiyan that wiped off a portion of the visayan region in my country (Philippines) it was worse than this.
